I am often asked "What do you paint?"

I am open to painting anything in my environment that sparks my interest.

No limitations!

For me, painting is a meditative visual study of anything from the towering cliffs of Yosemite to the dancing reflections in water, the wrinkles in aging wood or the curl of a leaf. It is a challenge to try to apply the same painting process to a variety of subject matter, but the challenge is what keeps me going! Years ago, I started out painting in Watercolors but I have now switched to painting with Acrylics on canvas. I love the large canvas sizes and the strong vibrant color possible with opaque media. 

 

I have a degree in Applied Art and Photography from Sophia Polytechnic in Mumbai India. I currently live in the San Francisco Bay Area surrounded by wonderful landscapes that are an endless source of my inspiration to paint.
